Tips of checking defects found with the factory representative

Some inspectors will take the photo immediately when a defect is found, then check the defects in the camera with factory representative after the inspection is finished. To my point of view, this is not ideal practice.
The inspector can pick the defects, label it, and put into a container/carton under the monitoring throughout the inspection process. Before lunch time, it is better to check the defects found with factory representative, and check rest defects found in the afternoon after completion of the inspection.
The inspector shall show the defects on the real products, not the photos, tell them your classification, Critical, Major or Minor. If the factory representative does not agree your classification, you can explain at the end consumer's angle, what the severity of the defect is to affect the safety, function, appearance and the salability. If the factory still does not agree your defects classification, the inspector can seal the defective units at the factory, those defects can be further judged by the expert of the inspection company or subject to the decision of the final client.
In the meantime, the inspector and the factory should be mutually respected, make the inspection smooth, and reflect the real quality level of the shipment.
