How to identify the screen resolution of the smart phone ?

Normally screen resolution could be found in the device info (about phone) section under Phone configuration.

However some fraud suppliers may embed software in the phone so that the resolution showed on the device is higher but actually is less.

During the inspection, how can the inspector identify this? First, we can set the screen resolution as Maximum on the phone, make a screen-shot of full screen, then check the properities of this screen-shot photo on your PC, you will find the actual resolution of the screen.
