What shall be expressed during the orientation meeting? I would like to share good examples below:

- Introduce the company and auditor himself (herself)

- Comfirm the client name and vendor name

- Explain the anti-bribery policy, and request the auditee to cooperate, and sign on the memo

- Confirm the audit standard and scopes

- Explain this audit is to seek conformance, not nonconformance

- Stress the need for openness on part of auditee as well as auditors

- Explain confidentiality policy - any addional non-disclosure required?

- Explain that auditing is a sampling process

- Explain and clarify the process for communicating findings during the audit

- Confirm the person for point of first contact if anything significant is discovered

- Explain audit scores grading system

- Confirm the audit itinerary and schedule

- Inquire about any specific health or safety precautions / use of PPE

- Confirm lunch arrangements

- Invite questions relating to this auditing

- Confirm time of debriefing (if applicable) and closing meeting

- Explain the factory's right to appeal the conduct or conclusion of the audit.
