Internal check for electric appliance

Internal check is an important on-site test during an inspection of electric appliance.

On the attached photo 1), you will find the earth wire connected to terminal block is too short, per the standard, it should be longer than live and neutral wires; and the cord anchorage already clamped the basic insulation of conduct wires, it is not OK.

On the attached photo 2), the internal wire (black color) to motor already touched heating element, it should be fixed properly to prevent from direct contact to heating or moving parts.

Frankly speaking, inexperienced inspectors are not capable of detecting such issues. Hope the inspectors' knowledge could be improved through this kind of experience sharing!
