When performing the pre-shipment inspection in the past, we found many cosmetic defects on the product surface, e.g. coating peeled off, scratch marks, abrasions, etc., it is mainly because of the insufficient protection during handling or movement of parts.

Nowadays, the end consumers are very demanding when purchasing goods, they want to buy brand-new products without any problems. This is the challenge for the manufacturer, they must think how to avoid creating any defectives on the production rather than sorting the goods before shipping.

To achieve the consumer expectations, it is recommended to employ economic materials for the protection of parts or semi-finished products, and those materials could be recycling for use to save the manufacturing cost, e.g. EPE tubes, cardboards, bubble sheets, poly bags, foam wraps, films, and even socks.

On the captioned photo, you will notice some of above-mentioned protective materials are used on the manufacturing of leisure chairs with painting treatment. Those materials are quite cheap and can be re-used for several batches. As a result, the defect rate is very low during our inspections, the client is very happy with their quality as the goods have been well selling in the market. And of course, the supplier continuously receives orders from the client.

Controlling the quality on the production is more profitable rather than inspecting at the end!
